Argentine Deputy Sworn In In Wedding Dress

Buenos Aires, Dec 3 (NA) – National deputy-elect for La Libertad Avanza (LLA), Virginia Gallardo, was sworn in on Wednesday for the position she will hold from December 10. The particularity of the event was that she wore a long white dress resembling a wedding gown. As the preparatory session in the Lower House was underway, the former showgirl, coming from the world of feathers and revue theater, came forward to take the oath dressed all in white, as if she were a bride entering a church, with her daughter in her arms. Gallardo's aesthetic choice caused a great stir on social networks, as noted by the Argentine News Agency. The Corrientes native is one of the "outsiders" who will join the ranks of LLA along with other figures such as former actress and model Karen Reichardt, journalist Sergio "Tronco" Figliuolo, former tennis player Diego Hartfield, and spiritual influencer Laura Soldano.
